Creighton University (Fine and Performing Arts Department)
The Fine and Performing Arts Department offers undergraduate degrees in Art, Dance, Music and Theatre. Our Visual Arts division includes areas of art history, ceramics, drawing, glass casting, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. The Performing Arts divisions include dance, choral and instrumental music, and theatre.

Dance Opportunities
The Creighton Dance Company is the dance performance ensemble of Creighton University's Department of Fine and Performing Arts.
Under the direction of Lisa Carter, Coordinator of the Department's Dance program, the primary goal of the Creighton Dance Company is to afford young dancers an opportunity to develop their talents in a professional atmosphere by participating in the annual Mainstage performances in the Lied Education Center for the Arts and in other community performance events.
Repertoire for the Creighton Dance Company is an eclectic mix drawing on classical ballet, contemporary and modern dance, jazz and musical theatre dance.
Choreography includes works by the artistic director, Creighton faculty members, and guest choreographers.

Theatre at Creighton
Theater Mission Statement
The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and in Broadcast Production, the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Theatre, the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre and the co-major in Theatre are designed to give the student a broad-based understanding of the theatrical arts.
Through study in this degree program, the student will develop both cognitive and affective skills in acting, directing, lighting design, scenic design and constructdion, costume design and construction as well as other aspects of theatre performance and theatre production.
